Job Description

Responsible for the design, planning, coordination, and technical oversight of marine construction activities, specifically related to drilling ships and offshore structures. Ensuring that all construction and modification works are executed according to design specifications, industry standards, and project requirements.

Preparing detailed engineering drawings and structural calculations, providing technical support during installation and fabrication, and ensuring compliance with class society regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Produce and review technical drawings and engineering calculations related to TP reactivation.
Perform structural integrity assessments using FEM and other relevant methods.
Develop and validate calculations for temporary and permanent steel structures using STAAD.
Coordinate and interface with third-party vendors for design verification, scope definition, and documentation.
Work closely with both the offshore team and onshore engineering office to ensure alignment and safety.

2D drawing in Autocad
Ability to perform structural stress analysis using the finite element method with Ansys
Static steel structure calculation with STAAD program
What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Proficient in AutoCAD for 2D drafting; experience with 3D modelling software is a plus.
Strong understanding of marine structures, outfitting, and integration works.
Knowledge of marine industry standards and class society rules.
Excellent technical documentation and report writing skills.
Effective communication and coordination abilities.
